How to Adopt a Maine Coon Kitten

 

Step 1:  Fill Out Our Kitten Application

We ask all potential families to complete a short kitten application so we can get to know you, your home environment, and what kind of kitten you are looking for.  This ensures the best possible match based on personality, energy level, and household compatibility.

Step 2:  Approval & Communication

Once your application is reviewed, we will reach out to discuss available or upcoming kittens, answer your questions, and help you prepare for the next steps.  Approved families are added to our waiting list or invited to reserve available kittens.

Step 3:  Reserve Your Kitten

When a kitten becomes available, you will have the option to place a non-refundable reservation deposit of 350 dollars to hold your kitten until they are ready to go home.  We will send you the contract for you to fill, sign  and email back to us.  Kittens can be reserved once they are evaluated and made available (typically around 4 to 6 weeks old).

Step 4:  Updates & Preparation

We will keep you updated with by-weekly photos, personality notes, and key milestones as your kitten grows.  Around that this time, we will also provide a prep guide so you can get your home ready for your Maine Coon kitten arrival.

 

Step 5:  Go-Home Day

At around 12-14 weeks of age, your kitten will be ready to leave for their forever - fully weaned, litter trained, vaccinated, and confident.  Pick up is arrange directedly through us, or delivery via ground transport or via pet nanny can be arrange.  We will provide contact information (inquire for details).
